Melanie won the Miss Tattoo Asia contest based on a number of factors including but not limited to:
1) Tattoo Placement
2) Tattoo Design
3) Ink and Artistic Quality
4) Symbolism and personal meaning
5) Charisma
A total of $1,850.00 in cash prizes were awarded to the first second and third place winners. In addition, the first place winner will be published in tattoo magazines after a free photo shoot. The specific tattoo magazines have yet to be disclosed.
