NEW ZEALAND BRO!

NEW ZEALAND BRO!

So here it is.... the much anticipated New Zealand blog entry.....

New Zealand was awesome! We have been once before and loved it, this trip just cemented our love for this beautiful place!! We were only there for 5 days but they were fun filled and we enjoyed every second (except getting up at 3:30am on Monday to come home, Matt still giving me a hard time for organizing that flight). The convention was great, the organisers took great care of everyone. Even though Matt wasn't very busy, we thought it well worth the trip! We got to hang out with some awesome people and visit some great shops while we were in town too. Not to mention buy up a whole heap of new prints and t-shirts (my favorite part of the convention thing, shopping for cool stuff). So without further a do, here is a bunch of pics from our weekend in New Zealand:

Matt's gigantic banner was a show stopper- hehe
Alvaro- our lovely Spanish friend!
Samoan tattooing, brutal.
Booth 61- The 3 boys, Ben, Alvaro and Matt, looking like they are conspiring about something.  I wish I got a photo of their faces together :(
Having trouble thinking?
Meeeeeeee, in Auckland. Happy days :D
Ferry's and the beautiful ferry building.
Ferry building from a different angel (I like old buildings, can you tell)?

New Zealands finest, awesome shop, awesome artists!

Creepy, oversized santa and reindeer
I found a place that does the best soy chai and I had a bunch of them over the 5 days we were there.
So all in all a great trip! We plan on going back next year for the New Plymouth show, which sounds like it's going to be a rip snorter (where did I get rip snorter from)??

In shop news:

Terry James has one spot left for next week. He was fully booked but someone cancelled on him unfortunately. So next thursday night at 6pm is up for grabs! Check out his work at http://www.facebook.com/terryjamestattoo

Mitch Love is booked out for when he is going to be here too.

Aaron Bond has appointments still available from between the 20th of December and 20th of January. Check out his work at http://www.westsidetattoo.com.au/

Jamie, Simone and Matt are all booked out solid until Christmas. Matt is still doing consultations for work beginning the new year, so if your keen you can still call the shop and arrange a time for that. Jamie and Simone will not be taking on any more new work until after February 6th (they will be on holidays from the 24th of December). But you can still arrange consultations for when they return, or book any on-going work in for when they return. REMEMBER WE HAVE GUESTS ARTISTS HERE WHILE THEY ARE GONE, YOU CAN STILL GET TATTOOED!

That's it!

Oh and I quit facebook (not that anyone really cares) I just remember last time I quit facebook people got upset with me because they thought I deleted/blocked them. So nothing personal peeps, facebook just sucks is all :P
