STOP CRITICIZING, START CREATING

STOP CRITICIZING, START CREATING

Today on Rise to Wisdom we're talking about criticizing. Yes, we all do it. When dealing with others, it is all too easy to find fault, to criticize, and to condemn. How often do criticisms lead to actual change and improvement? Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, we find that people don't criticize themselves for anything, despite how wrong they might be.

Criticism is futile, because it puts a person on the defensive and cause him to justify himself. Criticism is dangerous, because it wounds a person's pride and arouses resentment. Criticism is vain, because in judging others, we regard ourselves as more righteous than they.

STOP CRITICIZING, START CREATING

(1). All great people get great criticism- Learn to accept and expect the unjust criticisms for your great goals and accomplishments.
(2). It's a thousand times easier to criticize than to create. That's why critics are never problem solvers.
(3). When you are kicked from behind, it means you're out in front.
(4). A proverb says, "A critic is like the girl who can't dance so she said the band can't play."
(5). The critic is convinced that the chief purpose of sunshine is to cast shadows.
(6). Like a cynic, a critic always knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." OSCAR WILDE.
(7). In criticizing others, remember that you will work overtime for no pay.
(8). Never throw mud. If you do, you may hit your mark, but you will have dirty hands. Don't be a cloud because you failed to become a star.
(9). Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others" ( FROM THE OPTIMIST CREED).
(10). SPEND YOUR TIME AND ENERGY CREATING, NOT CRITICIZING.

It is better to work with the construction crew then the wrecking crew.
