  • Classes are required in human anatomy, piercing aftercare, and safety procedures.
  • Accompanied by 2 years of apprenticeship at a reputable tattoo shop.
  • legalization at a department of health bureau in the state you are piercing in.
  • Piercing is legal if done on oneself and on others FREE of charge. (Look at the picture).
   Facts

  1. Claire's charges for the jewelry. NOT the piercing itself.
  2. Claire's employee's practice "piercing procedures" for a couple of weeks.
  3. Claire's employee's are not licensed professionals.
  4. Claire's employee's do not wear gloves, which are used to ensure that bacteria formed on the hands do not transfer into a new piercing.
  5. Unlike piercing professionals (licensed) claire's employee's are not required to get tested for Hep C, HIV or AIDS.
  6. Claire's employee's are told by their manager's to "rush" through piercings.
  7. They use piercing guns which cause significant trauma to tissue where the piercing is placed.
